Returns & Refunds

Domestic Returns (Australia)

We want you to feel confident in every Common Player piece. If something isn’t quite right, we’re happy to help.

  • FULL-PRICE items can be returned for a refund, exchange, or store credit within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • SALE and promotional items (including those purchased using discount codes) are eligible for exchange or store credit only, if returned within 14 days of delivery.

     

  • Items marked 'FINAL SALE' at the time of purchase are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund, unless deemed faulty.

  • Returned items must be in original condition — unworn, unwashed, and with all tags attached.

  • Please initiate your return through our Returns Portal within 14 days of receiving your order. Returns must be received and processed within 30 days of purchase.


International Returns

We accept international returns on full-price items within 14 days of delivery.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and any customs duties, taxes, or fees associated with sending the parcel back to Australia.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • If international duties or fees are refused by the customer, a return-to-origin fee ($50 AUD) may be deducted from the refund amount.


Refunds & Payment Methods

Refunds will be processed back to your original payment method wherever possible.
If you paid with a non-reloadable gift card or prepaid card, refunds may be issued as store credit in accordance with the payment provider’s terms.

Refunds are typically processed within 2-3 business days of your return being received. Please allow up to 5-10 business days for funds to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.


Faulty or Incorrect Items

We take pride in the quality of our products, but if you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, you can submit a request through our Returns Portal and select the return reason that best matches your request. Our team will review your submission and arrange a replacement, or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. Please note that items damaged through normal wear and tear are not considered faulty.


Exchanges

Exchanges are processed subject to stock availability.

For eligible exchanges or store credit requests, Common Player covers the cost of returning the original item and shipping the replacement item.

For eligible refunds, a $10 return shipping fee applies. This fee covers the cost of returning the original item and will be deducted from the refund, unless the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or otherwise covered under Australian Consumer Law.


How to Return

Visit our Returns Portal and follow the prompts. You’ll be guided through the steps, including selecting your return reason and confirming your return method. Once your return has been received, our team will review it to ensure it meets our return conditions. Approved returns will be processed within 2 business days.
